Infant CPR

1. Unresponsive?
2. Look for breathing  <5secs  –   Not Breathing Call a Code
3. Brachial Artery Pulse <10seconds
4. Begin Chest Compressions  circumferential – 1/3through the chest 100/min and compression to ventilation 15:2 –  Switch every 2 minutes
5. AED/Defibrillator Assess Cardiac Rhythm

Placing Pads  High Right Low Lateral Left Heart Sandwich

Stand Clear Shock

Resume Chest Compressions and

Reassess Rhythm after 2 mins
